    We are planning a Disney trip later this week and although we are not Florida residents, my parents are. While visiting my parents would like to take my 3 kids to WDW for the day. Would they be able to do so with their residents discount?

    Welcome to planDisney, Cheryl! I'm so glad you stopped by. How generous of your parents to offer to take your kiddos to Walt Disney World Resort. I foresee some magical memories being made! I hope they can check out the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival with the little ones because there's so much to see and do. I took a fun stroll through Butterfly Landing last week, and a friend said her boys had a blast at the Family-Friendly Garden playground. So now let's talk about Theme Park Tickets.

    According to the official policy for Florida Resident purchases, your parents would not be allowed to buy discounted tickets for anyone who isn't a Florida Resident, regardless of age. I know this isn't the news you wanted to hear, but I hope you still take a multi-generational trip. Some of my most vivid memories are when my son was small, and my parents joined us at Walt Disney World Resort. Seeing my dad and son tooling around the track at Tomorrowland Speedway is a treasured moment.
