We are planning a Disney trip in late April for my daughter's 6th birthday. We would like to do one character dining restaurant with American cuisine. We are struggling with which one would give us the best food and best experience for the best price.

    Hi Heather!

How exciting for your daughter to spend her 6th birthday in Walt Disney World!  I'm sure it will be a birthday that she will never forget. If you are concerned with cost, breakfast is usually the least expensive meal, or you could combine your lunch and dinner that day and eat around 3:00.
Here are a few of my favorites!
    • Crystal Palace, at the Magic Kingdom, has a delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  It is American cuisine, and you will find Winnie the Pooh and friends bouncing around during your meal!
    • Cinderella's Royal Table, at the Magic Kingdom, also has breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  At breakfast and dinner, Cinderella, Fairy Godmother, and several princesses will come by for a royal visit with your little princess.  At lunch, you will be greeted by several  princesses as you enjoy your meal.  Dining at CInderella's Royal Table will be more expensive than the others, but being able to eat in this exquisite dining room is always a highlight of our Disney trips. An added bonus of dining at the castle is that  you will receive one professional photo package( with a group of four paying guests).  This package will include a Cinderella themed photo holder, picture of Cinderella Castle, and several prints of your daughter with Cinderella.
    • Chef Mickeys, at the Contemporary Hotel, serves a breakfast and dinner buffet.  At both breakfast and dinner you can expect a visit from Mickey, Minnie and friends!

If you would like to surprise your daughter with her very own birthday cake at your Character Dining experience,  please call (407) 827-2253 at least 48 hours in advance to order this special treat!

I know your daughter is going to have an unforgettable 6th birthday at Walt Disney World!
