    I am planning our Disney trip in July. SUPER EXCITED! Making reservations for dinning and it asks for a cc; however I have the deluxe dinning plan? How do I use my dinning plan for reservations and are there any places that I cannot use it?

    Hi, Emily!  I'd be SUPER EXCITED too!  I always look forward to a Walt Disney World vacation.

    Whenver you make a table service dining reservation, you will be asked to give a credit card number to guarantee your reservation.  Your card will not be charged unless you fail to show up for your reservation or cancel it with a 24 hour notice.

    If you are trying to book a dinner show or a restaurant that requires full payment in advance, you can have your credit card from your resort reservation linked to your dining plan.  This will make it so you don't have to pay up front, but if you don't show up, again, you will be charged in full for the missed reservation.  I find it easier to do this on the phone at (407) 939-1947.  

    To find out which restaurants participate in the Disney Dining Plan, you can check out this list of Disney Dining Plan Participating Restaurants.  It is updated each year.  You can book those dining reservations online at Disney Dining Reservations, or you can call the number listed above.
