    We’re planning a Disney trip and we heard about the tattoo ban. My fiance has a sleeve with anime characters. He got them while he was in the marines. Is he allowed in the park?

    Hi Leanne! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your great question. It always feels better to be “in the know” about the rules for Guests visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth! There is a lot of “information” about Walt Disney World Resort rules on the internet, but the best place to find the official rules is on the Walt Disney World Resort website.

    You’ll be happy to hear that there is no tattoo ban at the Walt Disney World Resort. However, there are some rules regarding tattoos that Guests must follow. The specific language on the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules webpage is, “Visible tattoos that could be considered inappropriate, such as those containing objectionable language or designs, are not permitted.” The description you provided certainly doesn’t sound objectionable but use good judgment in deciding what should or should not be displayed while visiting. If a Cast Member requests that the tattoos be covered it is probably for good reason and best to abide by their request so that you, your fiancé, and others can continue to enjoy their visit.
