    Planning our 1st Disney trip with our 2 y/o (so excited!!)for Feb 8-11, 2010. Will we beat the President Day crowds, or would the week before be better? Thanks - you guys are fabulous!

    Hi Rebecca,

    Welcome to the Moms Panel!  You should be excited, bringing your child to Walt Disney World for the first time is truly magical!  If you can be flexible with your dates, and have the option to switch, I would.  There may not be a dramatic difference in crowds, but the week you listed will also be the beginning of some February breaks for school children.  We have been several times the first week in February and found the crowds to be very light.

    If you can't switch your dates don't sweat it, simply plan ahead and get to the parks early.  Have a great trip!
