Am planning on going to Disney Orlando in January 2010. We would leave from Mtl - two adults and two children (12&8). If we wanted to book for a total package (flight, meals, accomodations), how much money do you think is reasonable to budget for?

Bonjour Christine! Merci pour m'ecrire! I ran some dates and numbers to get an estimate of costs for you. Right now, the least expensive airfare out of Montreal I can find is $600 per person, but between now and the next few months, I'm sure you can get a seat sale. Please note that the prices I figured out are for rack rates. It's important to check back to both the Canadian and US Disney sites often to see special offers. Recent great deals have included Buy 4 (nights) Get 3 Free and the current Free Disney Dining Plan.

Without any specials (remember to keep checking for them - very important!) and at today's rates, seven nights at a value resort including seven day park passes for your family would cost approximately $1,769 USD. At a moderate resort, the cost would be approximately $2.277 USD, and $3,222 USD for a deluxe resort. For $40 USD per person (plus tax) for everyone 10 years and older, and $10 for nine and under, you can add the Disney Dining Plan. This entitles each guest to one snack, one quick service and one full service meal per day. Click here for more information including other dining plans that may better suit your family's needs. These plans can save your family up to 40% on your dining.

I hope this helps to get you started. Please write back with any other questions! Bonne journee!
