I am planning on going to Disney May 2011 with my family. I do not have a lot of time to research info on the web, so what is the best book review, information of Disney World that I could read?

Hi Leshia! The internet has lots of information for planning trips to Disney World, but there's so much information out there that it can feel overwhelming, so I understand your desire to have all your information in a book. There are two books about Disney World that I buy year after year. The first is the Birnbaum Guide to Walt Disney World. This book is an official guide to Disney that contains surprisingly honest advice about restaurants and hotels and handy tips for getting the most out of your vacation. It is a small manageable size, so it's easy to read and has lots of color photos. My other favorite Disney trip-planning book is the The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World by Bob Sehlinger with Len Testa. This book gives a comprehensive guide to all the restaurants, hotels, and attractions at Disney World along with ratings, which help you decide where to stay or eat or which attractions might be suitable for your family.  The most unique and useful part of this guide are the Touring Plans, which are tailored for various types of guests (such as families with young children or senior citizens) and provide a schedule for visiting the parks and reducing the time spent waiting in line.

Of course, reading the questions and answers here at the Moms Panel is also a great way to learn about Disney and gather information for planning your trip. We're happy to help, so please don't hesitate to visit us again if you have more questions!
