hello we are planning on going to disney foe christmas. But I was wondering how bad are the crowds? I want to enjoy our trip. we have been there many of times but always go when its less packed. this will be our first trip on school vacation. thank u

Hey there Rachel  Congratulations on your Holiday Vacation to the "Happiest Place on Earth!"   I have taken several trips myself to Disney the week prior to Christmas. Last December, we were there from December 19th - December 22nd. Although it was crowded, we did find that we were able to experience everything that we hoped to do. I do believe the crowds get heavier closer to Christmas Day and are busiest between the week of Christmas and New Year's. The unofficial site allears.net lists Christmas Week through New Year's as "highest" in their historic attendance chart. If you will be staying on Disney property, be sure to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours which is a great perk for guests staying on property. Whether you are a guest staying on property or not, I would recommend getting to the parks at opening to maximize your time when they are less crowded.  You will love seeing all of the beautiful Christmas decorations adorning the resorts and theme parks at this festive time of year. I definitely think everyone should experience Christmas at Walt Disney World at least once. It truly is a magical time to visit! Please let me know if you have any additional questions that I can assist you with.  Best wishes for a Magical and Merry Trip, Rachel!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
