Planning a Disney Dream cruise. Can you tell me about the pool areas? The pools look small in relation to the size of the ship and will I have to get up at dawn to get a chair on the deck? Can't really tell from the website. Thanks!

    Ahoy, Meg!
You're going to be amazed at all there is to experience on a cruise vacation with Disney! Your daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app (available for download for Apple and Android devices) will be full of all types of activities for sailors of all ages! Splashtacular fun will be available on Decks 11 and 12 including Mickey's Pool and Donald's Pool! There are times the pools will be hopping, but with so much to do onboard, we find that we can avoid these times easily. As a family, we swim either in the morning, late afternoon or evening. We also love the AquaDuck! One of our favorite times to ride this exhilarating water coaster is at night when the clear tubes glow red and blue! If you have little ones eight or under, Nemo's Reef is an enclosed area with pint-sized features! When my kiddos were younger they loved the water features in this play area! If you want to enjoy some of the adult-only areas, the Quiet Cove Pool and Satellite Falls will be your place to escape for some rest and relaxation! I think you'll find that you can locate a spot to lounge at any time of the day. The chairs closest to the pool will be taken first, but the crew does their best to move towels if they see the seat is vacant. I have never had a problem finding a spot.
    Thank you for stopping by!
    Have a magical day!
