Welcome aboard, Stephanie!
There is so much for your two children to do while you're at Palo. Since you've got a 16 year-old with your younger child, the two of them can attend your family's regular dining rotation and have a meal there on their own. They'll be dining with the same dining service team that serves you each evening during your Rotational Dining, so the dining servers will know them by then! After dinner (or before, if you're on the Second Seating), they can enjoy so much
entertainment, like Character Greetings, the nightly Broadway-style Disney musical in the Walt Disney Theatre, family game shows and variety acts in D Lounge, first-run movies in the Buena Vista Theatre, or a "dive-in" movie on the pool deck on the huge Funnel Vision Screen. Swimming and water fun on the pool deck is always an option, as is shuffle board on Deck Four, the
sports deck, and any other family activities that might be scheduled during those hours. If you're on the Dream or Fantasy, they can do some sleuthing for the
Midship Detective Agency which takes them to the enchanted artwork throughout the ship to solve cases. There is so much to explore!
So, since age restrictions are enforced, they won't be able to attend the Youth Clubs together since they're in different age groups. But, keep an eye on the Personal Navigator or the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for Open House hours throughout the sailing when they can take each other to "their" clubs to show them around (and you too!).
Have a great cruise, Stephanie!
