Ahoy Aleathia!
A Disney Cruise is magical any time of year, but you will find the holidays to be an extra special time to set sail because Disney loves to celebrate whether on land or sea! The ship will sparkle from stem to stern with twinkling lights, gorgeous greenery and beautiful bows! There will be holiday festivities planned for your sailing such as gingerbread house making (this is free, but space is limited so stop by Guest Services for tickets), the lighting of the Christmas tree, holiday crafts, and a visit from Santa Claus himself! The characters will be dressed in their holiday finest so be sure to have your camera handy at all times! It will definitely be a Christmas to remember for your crew!
I'm not sure the ages of your kiddos, but Disney Cruise Line does offer youth programming for kids ages 3-12. The
Oceaneer Club and Lab opens around 9:00am each morning and closes around midnight. The counselors are fabulous and the spaces and activities are imaginative, fun and very entertaining! If you have little cruisers younger than three, you can reserve hours at the
nursery onboard for a nominal hourly fee. My son visited the nursery many times on our first Disney Cruise and loved his time there! The nursery is open similar hours to the club and lab, and reservations can be made online up to 75 days prior to sailing.
Thank you for stopping by with your question, Aleathia! If you think of anything else, please let me know!
Have a magical day!
Nancy
