Planning on going on another Disney cruise. Our daughters will be 6 and 12 when the cruise begins and turn 7 and 13 during the cruise. Our older daughter would still like to go to the Oceaneer's Club / Lab when 13 during the cruise. Is that ok?

Welcome aboard, Sven! Since you've already sailed with Disney once before, you are now officially a Silver Castaway Club member for your next cruise! You'll get all kinds of extra benefits, like earlier access to online booking of Port Adventures and more, a separate check-in line at the port terminal, and a special Castaway Club gift waiting to greet you in your stateroom!

Disney Cruise Line's Youth Clubs are fabulous, aren't they? I feel so secure knowing my kids are in such safe and great hands with the amazing youth counselors who lead such awesome activities for them! The clubs are very strict on the upper age limits of the clubs, so your older daughter will be able to be in the Oceaneer Club and Lab until her 13th birthday, at which time, she won't be able to join in there during regular hours since these spaces are for ages three to 12. However, don't forget that there are daily Open House hours in the clubs when guests of all ages can play there, and younger kids have their parents or older siblings join in on the magic of those spaces and activities. So, she can join your younger daughter during Open House hours. Besides that, though, she'll absolutely love Edge, the tween club onboard for ages 11 - 14. My daughter cannot get enough of the fun at Edge. Your older daughter will have more fun there because it's geared to her age. After the first night onboard, my daughter always has brand new friends that she spends time with at Edge for the rest of the cruise. Many of them still keep in touch back home too! I love that about sailing with Disney, and how the activities in the clubs really encourage engagement and friendships.

Have such fun planning, Sven, and please stop back if you have other questions before you set sail! We're happy to help!
