We are planning to do Disney at Christmastime. My question is DO they still do the Wishes firework show even though they now have Elsa lighting up the castle?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nicole!

You will be happy to know Wishes fireworks show does indeed occur every evening during the holiday season except for those night when Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is taking place. Even those nights feature a special fireworks show, Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season.

While there hasn't been an announcement that A Frozen Holiday Wish has been extended through the next holiday season, this show takes place in front of Cinderella Castle earlier in the evening. This past holiday season this special castle lighting show took place at 6:15 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Therefore, it doesn't interfere with the production of Wishes.

To be one of the first in the know when (or if) A Frozen Holiday Wish is extended, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog.

Good luck with the rest of your planning. If you have any more questions about holiday happenings or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
