Planning a dinner at TRex in Downtown Disney. We will be taking a bus from the TTC to get there. Does the bus drop off close to TREX or will we need to rent a wheelchair for my mother who can only walk relatively short distances?

    Hi Leslie,

The Disney buses have two drop off locations at Downtown Disney. The first is the Marketplace and the second is the Pleasure Island stop.

The T-Rex restaraunt is slightly closer to the Marketplace stop, however it is still a short walk to the restaraunt. You will need to walk through the shopping area to arrive at T-Rex, which is just past the the World of Disney and Lego store. The walk is approximately ten minutes at a moderate pace. There are wheelchairs available at Guest Relations, however the Guest Relations location is about halfway through the Marketplace itself. There are a number of benches and chairs along the way where your mom can stop and rest if the walk becomes to much.

We have traveled to Disney World a number of times with my grandmother, who has both heart problems and pain in her knees and legs. While I can not guarantee that your mom's mobility is the same as my grandmother, I can tell you that she was able to travel throughout the Marketplace by walking slowly and resting about halfway. Hopefully your mother will find the walk within her abilities.

Hope she is able to enjoy the visit without to much difficulty.
