We are planning a dinner at Sanaa but are unsure if our teenage children will feel adventurous and want to try the adult menu. Are they allowed to order from the children's menu?

Hi there, Deb! Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop back by and allowing us to help you plan another visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is an incredibly unique experience you don’t want to miss! In addition to the delicious dishes available, you also have direct viewing access to the Sunset Savanna that is home to a variety of exotic animals. It is so much fun to eat your meal while watching all of the different animals meander right outside the restaurant!

While I wholeheartedly recommend trying Sanaa if you enjoy Indian flavors, I know that these dishes are not for everyone! Fortunately, your child should have no problems ordering dishes from the kids’ menu. I have done this multiple times myself due to dietary restrictions and have found most locations to be extremely accommodating! That being said, it is likely that you will be charged for a larger portion since your child is not nice years old or younger.

If your children are feeling a bit more adventurous, I highly recommend ordering the Indian-Style Bread Service for the entire group! This appetizer comes with five different types of bread and nine accompaniments. This is also the perfect way to taste a few different spices they may not be acquainted with and testing to see if they enjoy them!

After you’ve had your meal, you may also want to make your way to the outside area of the Sunset Savanna and speak with some of the animal specialists stationed there! This is a great opportunity to learn more about the animals that call this area home and, in my experience, the Cast Members here are so excited to share their knowledge with Guests!

I hope you and your family have a magical trip to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you along the way!
