    Planning a December surprise vacation for Christmas and my son's birthday. First, are fireworks at all the parks? Also, when will the park hours for December be available? Finally, if I book now, and a promotion starts, can I modify my reservation?

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited you are planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort in December.

    When it comes to fireworks, there are displays in all of the parks except Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Hopefully, by the end of the year, you will be able to enjoy the Rivers of Light show. It's going to be amazing. You can check out the fireworks schedule on the Walt Disney World Resort website as we get closer to December.

    The park hours for December should be ready in the next month or so. Keep visiting the website to keep up on all of the new details. It's also worth following the Disney Parks Blog to see if there are any December-specific announcements!

    If you book now, and a new promotion starts, all you have to do is call the hotel reservations line and see if you can qualify for the promotion. I know I've been able to do that in the past when I made an early reservation. Keep an eye out for any new deals by visiting the Special Offers page.
