Ahoy, Elisa!
An amazing
Alaskan adventure sounds like a "WONDER"ful idea for next summer! I've been fortunate enough to explore the Last Frontier twice and would return in a heartbeat to soak in more of the scenery, catch a glimpse of more wildlife and spend time on the magnificent newly re-imagined
Disney Wonder. It truly is a vacation like no other so I really hope it works out for 2018!
You've asked two very important questions about your initial cruise plans. Deposits for all regular category staterooms are refundable, if you cancel your cruise reservation by the final payment date. For Alaskan sailings, this date is 120 days prior to your departure. Currently, you can expect to pay 20 percent of your voyage (minus the taxes) as your deposit. This amount can be moved to another sail date if you decide later to change your initial reservation. I've had to do this before when plans have changed, and it's not presented a problem at all.
While you plan for your journey with Disney Cruise Line, be sure to explore all the incredible
Alaskan Port Adventures you can experience while visiting the spectacular ports of call. There is something for Guests of all ages and with various levels of activities offered. It's a lot to research so be sure to start your wish list of excursions early!
We hope you'll be booked and counting down to Alaska soon, Elisa! Please keep us posted with any further questions you may have about your voyage.
