We are planning a 5 day trip during mid september. Our question is how busy is the Polynesian resort during this time? Reviews say that it is the most crowded resort and folks have to fight crowds just to get on the monorail. Rethinking our decision...

    HI Kattie,

I don't know what you've been reading, but I've never heard this complaint before.

First of all, mid-September is one of the least crowded times at Walt Disney World. You will be unlikely to encounter crowds at any point during your vacation. I have stayed at all but one of the Disney hotels and have encountered transportation backups at a few, but never at the Poly.

Perhaps you saw a comment from a guest traveling during Christmas week or during a monorail breakdown? That's the only thing that I can imagine happened.

Truly, this is one area of planning where you don't need to worry.

    Have a wonderful vacation.
