Planning day to “resort hop”. We have reservations for a buffet at 5 pm. Can you recommend snacks we can get from the Disney Dining Plan at resorts - including more savory than sweet options? Something to hold us over rather than a full lunch? Thanks!

Hi, Lisa! I hEAR you want some advice about Disney snacking- you're speaking my language!

First of all, please forgive me... my two favorite recommendations are not on the Disney Dining Plan, but hEAR me out, as I think they are worth a trip! Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is so serene and beautiful, as it sits right on the shores of Bay Lake. This is a must do for many Guests, and I'm counting down the days till I get to eat here! The Cheesy Barbeque Brisket with House-made Chips is the very definition of comfort food, and I'd suggest pairing it with a Black Cherry Mule. The Banana Cabana Pool Bar at Disney's Carribean Beach Resort has an equally relaxing vibe, and the Jerk Chicken Wings are the perfect snack to tide you over.

For a more casual experience, head over to the End Zone Food Court at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort for their Chili-Cheese Fries. Spend some time there to check out the larger than life sports icons at this super fun and lively resort!

I know you asked for savory options, but I have three sweet options that I'd love for you to try, and they are all Snack Credit worthy!  Zebra Domes from The Mara at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge have a cult following. They come four to a pack, and the chocolate mousse is filled with Amarula Cream. Being from New Orleans, I also have to recommend the Mickey-shaped Beignets from Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory! What puts this snack over the top are the extra dipping sauces. Lastly, no trip to Walt Disney World is complete without a Dole Whip. Eat one in style on the Pineapple Lanai at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

I hope you enjoy your day of snacking, Lisa! I already have a Rumbly in my Tumbly just thinking about it!
