We are planning a 6 or 7 day holiday for the entire family in Dec 2026. Which durationusually attracts special offers.

Hi Emmanuel, and thanks for visiting us at planDisney. Dreaming about your next Disney adventure is almost as fun as the holiday itself! I might be biased, but I would always go for more days at the Most Magical Place on Earth, if it’s within the budget. So let’s chat about special offers. After all, the more you save, the more you can spend on all the Mickey-shaped snacks!

There’s a lot of variation among Disney World special offers, and new ones are added throughout the year. Looking at the current offers, one requires a minimum 4-night, 4-day room-and-ticket package, while others don’t have a length-of-stay requirement. It’s too early to see special offers that apply to December 2026 vacations, so I’d recommend booking the number of nights that works best for your family. If a special offer is added, you can usually adjust your booking and apply the promotion, if available.

To get an idea of the typical promotions, check out the Special Offers page on the Disney World website or call a local travel agent, who can also let you know if there are any Australia-specific offers. If you search “Authorized Disney Vacation Planner Australia”, you can find a travel agent that specializes in Disney holidays.

December is my absolute favorite time of the year at Disney World, when the resort hotels and theme parks are covered with sparkling holiday decorations! And there’s so much going on between the specially-ticketed events, like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights, and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, which is included with your theme park ticket. My family loves eating our way around the different Holiday Kitchens (you can check out this year’s menus to start getting excited!) and learning about traditions around the world through the Holiday Storytellers. Some of our other festival must-dos are the Candlelight Processional (we like to book a dining package so we don’t have to worry about getting seats), riding Living with the Land - Glimmering Greenhouses in the evening, and listening to Voices of Liberty sing Christmas carols. It always gets us in the holiday spirit!

I’m wishing you the most magical time at Disney World next year. And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome here at planDisney.
