We are planning our daughters first trip to Disney in Aug. 2010. How soon should we make our hotel reservations?

Hi, Jacqueline.  I always tell people that if they want to make sure they get the type of accommodations they want, as soon as they know when they will be going to Walt Disney World, they should look at booking their resort.  During peak seasons, some of the resorts do sell out - especially the value resorts.

If you have your dates pinned down, go ahead and book your resort.  If a special promotional offer becomes available, you can always call and see if you can switch your reservation at that time, but it's better to have your room booked, you have the resort you are hoping to get, and one piece of the puzzle is in place!

Have a great time planning your trip, and don't forget to come back and visit us here for more help as you get closer!
