Hi! I am planning to take my daughter to Disney in November but unsure if I should wait to purchase tickets or see if magic keys will go on sale. Any idea of whenever

Hi Kari! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

I wish I could predict when Magic Keys will reopen for purchase. They're currently paused and there's been no official announcement regarding when to expect their return. I know many Guests are hoping they'll become available soon!

If you want to be among the first to know when sales will reopen, I suggest you follow the Disney Parks Blog. This is the official news source for the parks, so it's a good bet it will announce sales. I'd also update your MyDisney account to reflect your current information and select to receive all communications from Disney. Hopefully, that ensures you're among the first in line for the virtual waiting room for your chance to purchase. Availability may be limited. Read through all the terms for your preferred Magic Key before purchase to make sure it's the right fit for your needs. That includes the Blockout dates. If you're blocked out when you mean to visit, that's not the right Magic Key for you! Prices and terms are subject to change.

Since Madame Leota hasn't revealed when to expect Magic Key sales to reopen, it's up to you whether you attempt to wait or go ahead and purchase standard admission tickets. The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are a very popular time to visit and there's a chance theme park reservations will fill up before you get your Magic Key. That would be very unmagical! Currently, both parks are still available, but that could change quickly. Theme park reservation availability isn't guaranteed.

Regardless of whether you visit with a shiny new Magic Key or a standard admission ticket, you're going to have a magical time taking in the spirit of the season. The parks are transformed by festive decor, entertainment, parades, and fireworks, and you'll find plenty of holiday merchandise and menu items with which to treat yourself.

    I hope this helps!
