My magic key expired less than a week ago, how do I go about renewing it ?

Hi Tabatha! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

Expired Magic Keys aren't eligible for renewal, unfortunately. At this time, according to the stated terms, Magic Keys are eligible for renewal during the 30-day window leading up to the expiration. Since your pass has expired, you'll need to wait to purchase a new Magic Key once they become available. New Magic Keys are not currently being offered for sale, but hopefully, they'll be back before you know it!

I know from experience having more access to the parks, great discounts, and perks make a Magic Key a great value. To be among the first to be in the virtual waiting room for your chance to purchase a Magic Key, follow the Disney Parks Blog, which is the official news source for the parks. Also, update your MyDisney account to reflect your current information and select to receive all updates from Disney.

Just be sure when sales open up again that you've read through all the terms for your new preferred Magic Key. They might be different from your last one, and you want to make sure it's the right fit. That includes the all-important Blockout dates. Prices and terms are subject to change.

In the meantime, you can also look for great Offers and Discounts that might put your next visit that much closer to being a reality. Magic Key holders aren't the only ones who are eligible for a great deal! These offers are regularly updated, so look here first.

    I hope this helps.
