We are planning on cruising in April 2014 and then spending a day or so at WDW before flying home. Would it be better for me to call WDW to book my stay so I can get setup transportation from the dock to WDW?

Welcome aboard, Jessica! I'm so happy to hear that you're planning to enjoy a sprinkling of Disney magic by land and sea the next time you vacation! My family loves to add a few days at the Walt Disney World Resort onto our cruise vacation to help extend the fun we have onboard!

Disney Cruise Line can actually help you book a resort, park tickets and ground transportation along with your cruise! I love that they can do all of this for me, as it makes the transition very easy from land to sea and back again! Give one of the agents at Disney Cruise Line a call at 1-800-951-3532 when you are ready to book your cruise and resort stay. They'll be happy to take care of that for you.

There is an extra cost for Disney's ground transportation between the port and the airport or the port and the resorts at Walt Disney World, but I promise it is worth every single penny! Currently it costs $35 per person each way. But, they really do take care of all of the details making it seamless and stress free, and that is exactly what we want when we vacation with Disney!

I hope that helps as you begin to make your reservations, Jessica! I'm happy to help if you have other questions about your cruise before you set sail!
