I am planning a cruise with my 5 yr. old granddaughter. I have a hard time walking so I would like to know where the most convenient location for a balcony cabin? Also is there an early boarding pass that you can purchase?

    Ahoy, Judi!
I love the idea of enjoying a magical sailing with your five-year-old granddaughter. I called Disney Cruise Line with your question, and they said you might be able to have someone at the port assist you with the boarding process with a temporary wheelchair. This will need to be arranged at the time of check-in. With the ship's size, it might be helpful for you to have a walker to assist you around the ship. The most convenient location for your verandah stateroom is most likely going to be a midship room located near the midship elevator. Deck 7 or Deck 8 is one of my favorite places to stay because it puts you in a good spot to get down to the lobby or up to the pool deck. There are accessible staterooms that may be a good option for you. My advice is to call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to speak with a representative, so they can steer you in the right direction.
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Judi! Good luck with your plans for your Disney Cruise vacation!
    Have a magical day!
