Welcome aboard planDisney, Jody!
I’m so glad you sailed by with your question about your
Disney Cruise Line vacation aboard the
Disney Wish.
Disney’s Rotational Dining is one of my favorite features of a Disney cruise. Experiencing the
amazing themed restaurants aboard the Disney Wish makes each evening a special event of its own. I know that for a mom traveling with two little ones, diners can be an action-packed adventure of their own. One of the features of rotational dining that I especially appreciate is that the server team will rotate with you each night. By the end of the cruise, you will wish they could come home with you because they will know exactly how your girls like their meals and what types of desserts satisfy their sweet tooth. And never fear, they will know the same for you!
While Captain America and Captain Marvel ultimately help save the day, I understand your desire to not include the Worlds of Marvel dining venue in your rotation. So, let’s see if we can save the day for you!
First,
contact a friendly Disney Cruise Line Cast Member and ask them to add your request to your reservation. Then, as soon as you board the ship, open the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App and you should see your dining rotation. If you see that Worlds of Marvel is in your rotation, head over to the
Guest Services desk (Deck 4, Midship, overlooking the Grand Hall) once on board and speak with a Crew Member.
The Crew Members are full of epic powers of their own and will do their best to accommodate your request but know that requests are based on availability and there is no guarantee. I have found that if the request isn’t accommodated on embarkation day, there may be an opportunity for a new rotation assignment on a subsequent evening since other Guests might have a change in plans. It is certainly worth asking!
And finally, if your request is unable able to be accommodated, please share your concern with a Guest Services Crew Member, your servers, or the host at Worlds of Marvel when you check in for dinner. I’m sure they will have some helpful advice to help you navigate the portions of the show that concern you. Another option is to enjoy dinner al fresco at Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods (Deck 11, Forward). I highly recommend everything on the menu at Mickey’s Smokestack Barbeque and you will find many other options to satisfy the whole family!
Thanks, again, for cruising by with your question, Jody. Please stop back by with any other questions you may have or if we can offer some tips or advice. Our Disney Cruise Line specialists,
Tracie and
Adrianna, are cruise vacation super heroes!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
