Waving hello to you Sarah!
I'm thrilled to hear you've already started the planning process for a
Disney Cruise Line sailing. I think it's a truly magical way to relax, recharge and make wonderful memories together with your children. There is so much to enjoy on each of the
fleet's ships I can certainly understand wanting to get your reservations secured as quickly as possible. Disney Cruise Line will be celebrating its
Silver Anniversary at Sea on select sailings this summer so that's even more reason to get that booking complete!
I chatted with a Cast Member who let me know you should be able to
modify your reservation details as long as your Stateroom is not a Restricted Guarantee Stateroom. Keep in mind that adding additional guests is subject to both Stateroom occupancy limits as well as remaining availability on your particular cruise.
If you've sailed previously you may recall participating in an
assembly drill at an assigned muster station before the ship set sail. Disney Cruise Line follows the
highest safety protocols, and as such needs to ensure capacity for all guests assigned to a specific muster station and lifeboat in the event of an emergency. While Staterooms may appear open for booking online, your specific Stateroom or zone of the ship may reach capacity limits. You can
call to speak with a Cast Member should you need additional assistance finding the appropriate accommodations if and when you decide to add your cousin to your Stateroom.
I hope this was helpful Sarah! If we can be of further assistance please don't hesitate to sail back to us with more questions. We're always all hands on deck here at planDisney.
Bon voyage!
Amy
