Me planning this cruise has taken on a ripple effect! I have several family members wanting to come with! How many people can sit together at dinner? As of now, we may have a party of 12. It would be SO FUN to eat together each night!

Welcome back, Laura! I completely understand how excitingly infectious planning a Disney cruise can be! I love to share my plans with family and friends too, in hopes that they'll join us! You've obviously been spreading the word about all the fun in store for your family on the ship since you have so many others ready to join you on your sailing! That's going to make for one very magical cruise!

Normally, the tables are set up for up to eight guests, however, I have seen two tables combined into one long table for up to twelve on occasion, and by special request. Once all of your friends are booked on the cruise, be sure to call Disney Cruise Line with a list of all your reservation numbers and ask them to link your reservations. You can then request that you all sit together if possible. If you end up with more guests than they can accommodate at one long table, they do their best to ensure that your party is all in the same section, at tables next to each other, and with the same service team. If you put in that special request, my suggestion would also be to speak with one of the head servers in the restaurant where you have lunch that first day on the ship. You can confirm with him that your request was received and verify how your tables will be set up. Disney Cruise Line really goes above and beyond to be sure their guests enjoy the most wonderful experience possible on the ship, so I am very hopeful that they will work with your group to ensure if not one table, then two tables right next to each other, Laura.

Send your friends this way if they have other questions as they begin to join you in this exciting planning time for the cruise! We're always happy to help!
