    We're planning a cruise to surprise our 5 year old with in April on the Disney Magic. We know there will be a formal night, but I was wondering what would the dress code for our 5 year old son be? Should we get him a suit?

    I love your plan to surprise your little prince with a voyage on Disney Cruise Line!  My kids love a surprise too so I'm sure he will be over the moon when he finds out your plans for big fun on the high seas! 
    Fortunately, my seven year old son doesn't mind dressing up on our sailings, but I have yet to buy him his first suit.  In the past, he has worn a button-down shirt with a tie both with and without a sports coat and khaki pants.  He has also worn a nice-button down without a tie as well.  When we did a five night cruise, I bought a nice linen short sleeved shirt and paired it with some linen khakis.
