Welcome aboard, Glory!
My very first Disney cruise was with my extended family when my younger brother graduated from college. What a perfect way to celebrate your son's big achievement and start a new chapter in his life!
My family and I are super budget conscious when it comes to our Disney vacations, so I totally understand you not wanting to book two staterooms for this trip. My family of four always stays in one stateroom, and if you're looking at the
Deluxe Family Staterooms with a Verandah, you're going to be all set for your family. With plenty of storage, including tons of space under the bed for suitcases, you'll enjoy this stateroom. Certainly while at home, we're never all in a room that size together, but for our cruises it hasn't been a problem. Since they offer split baths, one with a shower and sink and the other with toilet and second sink, we can be getting ready in one while another person is showering. Plus, with the verandah, there is room to spread out.
I am 5'8" and while I always sleep in the queen bed onboard, I have snuggled up with one of my kiddos on the other beds and felt really comfy, so I think your boys will be just fine. You won't be spending all that much time in your stateroom since there are so many
activities going on day and night onboard and in the ports of call, so book what's in your budget and enjoy every moment onboard, Glory!
Stop by again as you plan if we can help with any other questions!
