I am planning a cruise for my husband’s 60th birthday. We have two children and their families - total 6 adults and 3 children - age 4, 2 and 1.5 by the time of travel - July 2026. I would like to get a suite that we could all share.

Ahoy there, Eileen! Thanks for sailing by planDisney.

What a lovely way to celebrate a milestone birthday! We are also coming up on a major one in our family in 2026, so I wanted to grab your question to help with both our planning!

So I pulled up the website and filtered for July 2026. You've got quite a few options to choose from! If you'd like to go adventurous, there are sailings from Singapore (on the brand new Disney Adventure, which will be the largest ship in the fleet!), cruises through the Mediterranean, sailings to Alaska, and a Norwegian Fjords cruise that includes stops in Southampton and Amsterdam. If you'd like to sail a bit closer to home, there are multiple sailings to the Bahamas and the Caribbean from Florida ports on the Wish, the Destiny, and the Fantasy.

Unfortunately, the max capacity for one suite is 8 Guests: the Tower Suites on the Wish and the Destiny. But! I have a great solution. I pulled up the Deck Plans for the ships, and each can book connecting rooms. If you book a Deluxe Oceanview Family Stateroom or higher, you can sleep five people in each room. I suggest booking a 1-Bedroom Concierge Suite with a connecting Concierge Family Stateroom. That way, you benefit from a dedicated living room area for the family to gather to celebrate your husband. Bonus points on the Destiny - you can book connecting 1-Bedroom Concierge Suites for even more square footage!

You can book online (looking at the Deck Plans while picking connecting cabins) or call Disney Cruise Line, where a Cast Member will happily help you with your booking. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to sail back to us. I wish you much pixie dust with your magical celebration!
