Ahoy, Kimberly!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are happy you cruised by with your question about your upcoming voyage. Disney Cruise Line is the perfect choice for a multigenerational vacation because there is
truly something for Guests of every age. My crew has sailed with both sets of grandparents before, and we certainly treasure the priceless memories we created while under the helm of Captain Mickey!
Since your family has cruised before, your Online Check-in will open up before your parents. Unfortunately, they will not be able to reserve their onboard experiences until 75 days prior to their departure since they are first-timers. And there is no way to know if they'll be able to coordinate the times. I reached out to Disney Cruise Line about your question, and they suggested that one adult from each stateroom switch so each cabin has a Castaway Club Member in it. Once you are on the ship, you can change back very easily by stopping by
Guest Services. To change room assignments at this point, you'll need to contact your travel agent or Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 if you booked directly through them.
Kimberly, to book your entire party for onboard fun and Port Adventures, your reservations will need to be linked. This can be done once you've logged into your cruise reservation by looking under "Add Reservation" below "My Cruise Reservation." You'll need the confirmation number and one member of the stateroom's birthdate to link a reservation. Linking reservations also guarantees you'll be seated with the other stateroom at dinner as long as the table size allows.
I hope my answer is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions about your journey aboard Disney Cruise Line!
