Planning a cruise on the Fantasy-east cari. Nov. 2013. Going alone, 21 years old, limited budget. what is there for me to do. also, do i have to pay to just go take pictures/relax on beaches?

    Hi Kathryn!

The Fantasy is truly a destination in itself, and you will be amazed at all there is to do already included in your cruise fare. Each day you will receive a daily newsletter, The Personal Navigator, in your stateroom.  This is your handy guide to knowing everything that is going on during that particular day.  Keep it with you at all times so you don't miss a thing!  You will definitely want to check out the "Just for Adults" row for activities just for those 18 and up.  If you are getting away to enjoy some R&R, I think you will find the Quiet Cove Pool very relaxing and refreshing.  At night, after a delectable dinner in one of the three amazing dining rooms and a Broadway-style show in the Walt Disney Theatre, you will want to head to the adult entertainment district, Europa.  There are five "nightspots" that make you feel as if you are actually across the pond in a European country such as France or Italy.  If you are a dancing queen, then you will enjoy The Tube.  If you would like to relax and enjoy a glass of bubbly, then the French inspired Ooh La La is the spot for you to be!

During your cruise, you will be able to disembark the ship at your leisure to take pictures of the spectacular ports of call. In St. Thomas, there is not a beach within walking distance of the pier so you will have to pay a cab fare to get there.  Some of the beaches will charge a minimal fee for a beachfront spot.  In St. Maarten, Great Bay Beach is just a short walk from the pier, and there is also food and shopping close by. On the last day, you will be able to enjoy Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.  Serenity Bay is the adult-only beach that I think you will find just heavenly!  It is the perfect ending to your magical time with DCL.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.  I'm happy to help!
