Planning cruise for family of 5. Which would u recommend..a deluxe family oceanview/veranda or 2 conecting deluxe inside staterooms? Both opt. r same $. One, we get the veranda the other we gain 100sqfeet and 2 bathrooms. Need help fast. ready to book.

    Hi Mike,

Ahoy! I hope you have a great time on the Disney Cruise! I have had the pleasure of sailing two times on the Disney Cruise and loved it both times!

When we sailed, we opted for just a porthole though it was a large porthole as my daughters could sit in it. It was nice to have the view. While I generally opt for the cheaper room, on the cruise I would at least opt for a view.

Having the extra bathroom is nice but for me, I think the view is the way to go especially if you are going to an exciting destination such as Alaska where looking outside is half the fun. Plus the veranda is a nice way to get some alone time and your whole family is in the same room.

The only way I would opt for the double rooms is if more than two teenagers are involved as they take forever to get ready. However, I found except for the mornings, we always had a staggered get ready time as the girls were in the kids/teen area so no one was really waiting for the bathroom.

    Wishing you a magical cruise!
