We are planning our 2nd cruise for this April, but are torn between the Dream and the Magic. The Magic offers a more affordable 5 day cruise, but will we be disappointed with the age/wear of the ship seeing as we cruised on the gorgeous Dream last year?

    Hi Christine!

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I love to hear you are planning your second voyage with Disney after having a wonderful experience on the Dream  last year!  I also cruised on the Dream during her inaugural year and agree she is a beautiful ship!

I understand your dilemma about which ship to sail on next!  If you loved the Art Deco style of the Dream, you will also enjoy the elegant and whimsical feel of the Magic!  Although the Magic is not as large as the Dream, the staterooms are spacious, the entertainment is fantastic and the service is impeccable! There is not an AquaDuck onboard, but  you can definitely  still have fun in the sun in the three swimming pools and Mickey slide!  If the Magic sailing is more affordable, the money you save can be used for a few extra indulgences onboard such as Palo, the Vista Spa, and your Port Adventures!

No matter which ship you choose, the Disney crew is constantly taking care of every inch of their amazing vessels. I look to forward to going back on the Magic because my experience is that any Disney Cruise is magical!  My suggestion would be to have a look at DisneyCruise.com to see what the Magic has to offer and share it with your family.  Whatever decision you choose, know that I am here to answer any further questions you might have about your vacation!  Please let me know if I can help!

    Have a wonderful day!
