    Planning on coming in 2013. Is the end of September a good time of year? We would like to get free dining. If we book specific dates, and the promotion comes out later for a different time period, can we change our reservation without difficulty? Thanks!

    Free Dining is one of Disney's most popular promotions, and there are guests, myself included, who plan their vacation around this special offer!  Normally offered during late August through September, you would find yourself right in the pocket to book FD.  Should a FD promotion be released, my recommendation is to call Disney reservations as soon as it comes out and change your dates.  As with any promotion, only a certain number of rooms at each resort is set aside for booking with FD.  Because it is so popular, these rooms fill up quickly, and once they are gone, that's it. 
    If you are able to have flexibility with your dates and move them around to accommodate an FD offer, I suggest you do so.  Normally, if within the 45 day window and with availability, there is no difficulty or additional fee in order to adjust your reservation to include FD.
