Hello, We are planning on coming to Disney very soon, but want to stay off property. If i park at downtown disney, can i take a bus to the park i choose?

Hi, Allison!  Unfortunately, there are no buses at Downtown Disney that go directly to any of the Walt Disney World theme parks.  The only way to get to any of the theme parks from the Downtown Disney Marketplace area is to take a Walt Disney World bus to the resorts.

I know it seems like parking is a good chunk of money, but honestly, that bus trip from Downtown Disney to the resorts, then from the resorts to a theme park can eat up a good chunk of your theme park day.  Additionally, parking at Downtown Disney can often be hard to come by, and you may have to walk a good distance from your car to the bus stop, adding even more time to your trip.

To top it off, parking at Downtown Disney is really meant to be for guests of the Marketplace and West Side.  It's hard enough some times to find a spot that doesn't require a bit of walking.  It wouldn't be fair to have guests of the theme parks using the lot to avoid parking fees.

I hope you enjoy a magical vacation!
