Planning a College Graduation trip with my daughter! It's been 13 years since we have done Disney World! I remember that before our other 2 trips we could order Disney maps of the park before arrival. Is this still a thing?

Hiya, Jodi! Welcome to planDisney. We're so happy you're here!

It sounds like some big celebrations are coming your way and I can't think of a better place to celebrate a college graduation than at Walt Disney World Resort! This will be an extra special trip for both you and your daughter where you can make memories together that will last a lifetime. Since it's been a little bit since your last visit, I'm sure there are many updates and experiences that will feel new to you! I'd love to help you with your upcoming trip so you don't miss a minute of the magic.

Jodi, while park maps can no longer be delivered to your home, I'm happy to let you know that there are still many ways where you can view park maps prior to your trip! For example, you can view interactive park maps online, allowing you to zoom into the details that each park has to offer. Additionally, you can view digital guide maps – very similar to the ones you'll find in the park! Take a look at the maps for Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Finally, you have the option to view park maps right from your phone – all you need to do is download the My Disney Experience app! This app feels a little like holding your own magic wand in your hand, allowing you to unlock everything that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. Not only will you be able to view park maps, but this app will also give you access to virtual queues and the ability to mobile order food while you're in the parks! I'd recommend taking some time to download and explore this app prior to your arrival, which will make your trip feel even more magical.

I have just a few more tips to share with you! First, I'd suggest booking your Disney Resorts Collection hotel at your earliest convenience, as popular dates and resorts can get booked in advance. I'd also recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog leading up to your trip. This is a great resource to stay up-to-date on everything you can expect during your magical vacation! You can also tune into the planDisney Podcast, where planDisney panelists share their best tips and personal advice when visiting Disney destinations. And of course, if you have any other planning questions at all, please write to us again. We love planning Disney vacations and making the process as fun and effortless as we can for Guests, just like you! Remember – you've got a friend in me.

    See ya real soon!
