Hi there, Deborah, and welcome to planDisney, where we have a
zest for helping you plan your magical moments at Walt Disney World. I'm a fellow Ohioan, and one thing is for sure: with our cold winters, we don't generally find citrus tree groves. Your question is very
orange-inal, so I did a little research to give you my best answer.
The only place I can think of that you'll see citrus trees growing inside Walt Disney World would be in EPCOT at the
Living with the Land attraction. This slow-moving boat ride takes you into EPCOT's greenhouses, where you'll find a variety of plants, including pumpkins, cacao, sunflowers, lettuce, and citrus trees (including nine pound lemons!)
If this attraction looks
a-peel-ing to you, you might want to consider taking the
Behind the Seeds tour, which will give you a personally guided backstage walking tour of The Land Pavilion. You'll learn about fish farms, unusual crops, and how plants are grown using hydroponics! This offering is part of the
Enchanting Extras Collection and can be booked 60 days in advance.
While I can't direct you to beautiful citrus groves on Disney property, I hope this information is helpful. And, of course, to enjoy the flavors of those citrus fruits that taste like Florida sunshine, be sure to check out Aloha Isle and
Sunshine Tree Terrace! The DOLE Whip orange cup is delicious, and my absolute favorite citrus snack is the
Tropical Serenade at Aloha Isle-it's
ahhhhh-mazing! Deborah, I had a lot of fun researching your question. Here at planDisney, we are Guests just like you, and whatever makes Disney fun and magical for you matters to us. Thanks for stopping by. I hope we'll see you again!
Wishing you an "easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy," magical vacation!
