Hi Alesia!
You are going to love visiting Walt Disney World (WDW) during Christmas! There are so many wonderful things to do and see at WDW during the holidays. Cinderella Castle is especially beautiful during Christmastime when it's lit up with what appears to be icicles dripping off of every surface. At Magic Kingdom you will also love the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (you will need to buy separate tickets from admission and purchase them in advance).
There is also plenty to do outside of the parks. You will be happy to hear that Disney Springs is open on Christmas Day.
Fort Wilderness offers a plethora of activities for guests, including
Horse Drawn Holiday Sleigh Rides, Archery and
Wilderness Back Trail Adventure, which includes a Segway tour.
Call 407-WDW-PLAY 180 days in advance to make an advanced reservation and inquire about dates and times offered during your stay. You will be able to see if those activities are offered on Christmas Day at that time.
You will also be able to find other activities and special events offered on Christmas Day on the Disney website 180 days in advance. Simply visit the calendar and choose December 25 to find park hours and special events!
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
