    We are planning on celebrating hubbys bday and our daughter's 7th bday in WDW in April. Booked LIberty Tree Tavern dinner to celebrate - I don't see too much about it here, was that a good choice?

    I've dined at the Liberty Tree Tavern several times and like it quite a lot. The Liberty Tree is one of only three character dining venues in the Magic Kingdom (the others are the Crystal Palace and Cinderella's Royal Table). The characters there are usually traditional Disney characters (Mickey and pals) and they are dressed in colonial American garb. The food is served family style and is very much like a typical Thanksgiving dinner, with turkey and the trimmings. I think perhaps you don't hear as much about the Liberty Tree versus other character meals because it is a smaller restaurant than some of the others. I happen to think this is a good thing and helps to keep the noise to a dull roar.
