Welcome to planDisney, Mariana! How exciting that you are planning a most magical birthday celebration for your daughter at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Mealtime with family, friends, and characters sounds just like the icing on the (birthday) cake to me!
Mariana, because
The Crystal Palace is a buffet-style character dining experience, each member on your reservation will be charged the fixed menu price for this dining event. The good news is that in addition to the delicious buffet offerings to fill the rumbly in your tumblys, each member of your party will have the opportunity to visit with Winnie the Pooh and his Hundred Acre Woods friends.
If you have members of your party who will not wish to eat and pay for this dining experience, you may want to consider celebrating with the larger group at a quick service restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park instead, or my favorite,
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, for some birthday treats before or after taking the smaller group to Crystal Palace.
Celebrating any day at the parks is special, but I'd love to give you a few bonus tips for some extra birthday magic! Be sure to stop by
Guest Relations on your way into the park to request a complimentary Happy Birthday pin for your daughter to wear! She is sure to be wished a very happy birthday by Guests and Cast Members all day long! And while the Cast Members at Guest Relations will be happy to write her name on the pin free of charge, I also learned from my fellow panelist
Elaine that you can take the birthday pin to the
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square to have a calligraphy artist personalize it with some hand-drawn artistry!
Mariana, I hope your family has a wonderful time celebrating your daughter's birthday and makes magical memories on your upcoming visit! Please come back anytime with more questions; we'd love to sprinkle some pixie dust on your plans!
Magic Awaits,
Alison
