Planning to come celebrate our anniversary the first week of June. Wondering what normal crowds and weather are like??? I read somewhere that June usually gets the most rain,...Any advice to still have an amazing time??

    Hi Lesli!

As far as summer goes, the first week of June is usually a little lighter than later in June, July and August, because many schools are still in session.

I use touringplans dot com to evaluate crowd levels. There is a small fee for subscribing to the service, but it is well worth the cost because you can receive crowd levels, touring plans, park recommendations and more. It is not an official Disney site, but I use it for planning every trip.

The first week in June is Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios, so that park may be more crowded than others. Unless you want to participate in Star Wars Weekends, I suggest avoiding Hollywood Studios on Fri., Sat., and Sun. and visiting on the weekday.

As far as the weather is concerned, the weather in Florida is typically warm and humid in the morning, with showers in the afternoon that quickly subside. It is usually not a big deal to tour the parks in the rain. Just bring a poncho and know that the showers are typically short lived. If you do happen to visit a park on a day when it is raining steady all day, visit Disney's Hollywood Studios because many of the shows and attractions are indoors. Animal Kingdom is also great in the rain because the animals are more active.

No matter what the weather, I know you will have an amazing time at Walt Disney World!

    Magically,
    Stacy
