We are planning on camping at Fort Wilderness but we have our tent that sits on our trucks (2). Are we able to park on the gravel for one truck and then on the pad for the other ? We don’t have tents that sit on the ground they are tents that go on the bed

Howdy, Miguel, and welcome to rootin' tootin' planDisney! I'm glad you stopped by to sit a spell, so let's talk about your options for truck bed camping at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.

I chatted with a cowgirl Cast Member, who said that truck bed tents are allowed at the campground, so as long as the campsite you booked will accommodate your two trucks, you will be allowed to pitch those truck bed tents for your stay. She said the Tent or Pop-up Campsites have a 10' by 25' concrete pad. You could park one truck on the pad and the other on the sandy area at your site. Remember there is a two-tent/ten-person maximum per campsite.

She cautioned that all the sites vary slightly in size and shape, so it's difficult to know whether both trucks will fit without knowing more details. She said you'll be fine as long as all tires are on either the gravel or the concrete pad. If you still need clarification, Miguel, please call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, and they will be able to help you. It might help to have the dimensions of your vehicles when you call.

I hope you'll rustle up some grub at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Pioneer Hall while at the campground. This dinner show is as rowdy as it is delicious. I can't wait to try their new plant-based options, but never fear! They have traditional fried chicken and BBQ, too. Remember to book your dining reservations 60 days before you arrive, and as a guest of a Disney Resort, you can book meals for the length of your stay.

Miguel, I'm sending pixie dust and sleeping bags so your upcoming visit is a yee-haw of a good time. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
