    I am planning on buying tickets now for 2018 before the price increase. When the free dining specials come out for 2018 would I still be eligible to add that to my hotel reservation if I do both at the same time?

    Hi Tara,

    I love that you are already thinking about your Walt Disney World vacation for 2018! While it seems far away, it will be here before you know it.

    In order to receive Disney's Free Dining if offered, it needs to be purchased as part of a package. This means your tickets must be purchased with the room. Your tickets will be length of stay and everyone on the reservation must be on the same package.

    While you can still purchase the tickets now, you will not be able to use them for free dining if offered. However, you may come out ahead if you can get a deal on a room and the savings from pre-purchasing your tickets.

    Food is the easiest to save on as you can do breakfast in your room by bringing cereal from home or other breakfast foods. You can also use an online grocer like Garden Grocer or have your Amazon order sent to your hotel up to a week prior to your check-in. You could order snacks and drinks in addition to breakfast items. This would be a big savings.
