I am planning on buying annual passes , however my family an I have never been an we would like to stay at one of the resorts, just wondering is there always transportation to an from the resort an the 4 parks...

    Hi Christy!

One of the many amazing advantages that comes with staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel is the variety of complimentary transportation options available to guests!  Although transportation options differ by resort hotel, you should always have a way to get to the parks!

The most common option for traveling to and from each of the four Theme Parks is the bus service.  Buses from the hotels to the parks begin running 45 minutes before the park opens.  Buses returning to the hotels from the parks continue running for two hours after the park closes.  Although you may have to transfer buses, it is even possible to visit other resort hotels using the buses.  This comes in handy, especially if you would like to have dinner at a restaurant in another Walt Disney World Resort Hotel!  Water transportation and Monorail transportation are other options for guests at some of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels!

Make sure to also take advantage of Extra Magic Hours.  Extra Magic Hours are one of my absolute favorite reasons to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel!  That extra time before the park opens or after the park closes to other non-resort guests helps to make a great trip even more magical!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
