Hi Abigail, welcome to planDisney!
How exciting that you're traveling to visit the
Disneyland Resort real soon! You're coming in right on time to take advantage of the
Kids' Special Ticket Offer as they're only valid through March 10, 2024. We just used this special offer to bring my niece a few weeks ago and it was a fantastic time. We loved that we were able to save some money on her ticket which, let's be honest, just went right towards churros and souvenirs!
The great thing about children's tickets for the Disneyland Resort is that all they have to do is show up. At this time, tickets for kiddos ages three to nine (3-9) have no current proof of age requirement to purchase or use the ticket. In my experience, we just purchased the ticket for my niece and scanned her in at the turnstile. The only time that I have heard of proof of age being asked was when a child "looked" like they were much older and were trying to get the child in free as under two years old. I have family members with kiddos who were extremely tall and they tended to carry a passport with them because their toddlers were as tall as children a couple of years older than them. This is not a requirement, and it was for their peace of mind for seamless travel and entry into the park.
Once you've got your kiddos' tickets squared away, I recommend a visit to the
Disney Parks Blog to check out the fun things happening during your visit, and watch the
planDisney podcast to hear tips for first-time visitors and other fun
recommendations at Disney California Adventure Park!
Abigail, I am wishing you and your family the most magical visit in just a few short weeks! Thanks again for popping by, and
reach out anytime if you have any other questions!
Adventure awaits!
Camille
