Walt Disney World Annual Passholder! I have been an Annual Passholder for several years and it has turned out to be a good value for our family. While there isn’t currently a discount to purchase tickets for family and friends, there was a special offer like that in the summer of 2019. I recommend checking the
Annual Passholder Program Page and the
Special Offers Page frequently as you never know when a new promotion will appear!
With
My Disney Experience, it helps to know that everything relates back to your profile. So your tickets aren’t stored on a specific
MagicBand, they are stored in your profile, the MagicBand just lets the system access your information. This means that any MagicBand that is linked to you (provided it has a working battery) will always work for you, even on different visits, resort stays, or with different ticket media!
Once you visit in May and activate your Walt Disney World Annual Pass at Guest Services, any MagicBand associated to you will work for your Annual Pass.
So if you have a special MagicBand you’d like to use, or you are issued a new one with a resort stay, either one should work. If you’ve been eyeing a new MagicBand, once you have entered a theme park for the first time with that Annual Pass, you’ll then be able to personalize the new MagicBand in My Disney Experience that is included in your Walt Disney World Annual Pass purchase!
