    Planning to build a lightsaber with my son but cannot see how practical it will be to carry it around all day- Can we leave it somewhere to be transferred to our room (we will be staying at Pop Century?

    Adam, you must truly be a Jedi since the secret location of Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers has been kept hidden from the prying eyes of the First Order. I completely understand wanting to blend in with your surroundings, so you may not want to carry your custom lightsaber around Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. While there isn't currently a way to have your lightsaber transferred back to your room, I do have a few suggestions for you:
    • The lightsaber hilt and the blade can easily be separated by gently pushing down on the blade and twisting. This can shorten the length of your parcel, making it easier to take around the park. You could consider keeping the heavier hilt in a small backpack to carry with you, then hold the light blade in the bag that will be given to you at the end of your experience. This will make touring the park much easier!
    • Consider making your reservation for a time in the evening! You'll be able to enjoy the day without having to carry a lightsaber, and will even be able to enjoy using and taking pictures with your lightsaber in the evening when it will glow and light up your surroundings. I suggest taking a picture at night in front of the Millennium Falcon!
    • Since Disney's Pop Century Resort is on the Disney Skyliner route, you may want to hop on the Skyliner for a quick ride after your reservation to drop the lightsaber off at your room. Then you can refresh, take a dip in the pool, and return to Disney's Hollywood Studios for an evening of thrilling attractions and nighttime spectaculars!
