Bright suns, Lisa, and thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question!
I sense the Force is strong with you and your family, and I can’t wait for you to experience building your very own custom astromech droid units at
Droid Depot! I had the chance to help my son build a droid a couple years ago, and it was such a unique experience. My son loved using the electric screwdriver to assemble his droid! You’re smart to think ahead about what to do with your droids upon completing them, Lisa, because we carried ours around for hours, and I regretted not researching this ahead of time!
You actually have a couple of options for storing your droids. First, you can
rent a locker from three locations, including
Disneyland Park, The Esplanade between both parks, or
Disney California Adventure Park. There are five locker sizes available, including Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, and Jumbo. Here's
a handy locker size guide to help you figure out which size locker may work best for you. The great thing about locker rentals is that anyone in your family or group can access the locker throughout the day, as long as you pass along the locker number and code.
Another helpful option is to use the
Disneyland Resort’s complimentary
package check service, which will hold purchases for you until you’re ready to leave. Locations for this service can be found at the Disneyland Resort Stroller Shop (on The Esplanade), at Elias & Company (in Disney California Adventure Park), or at Pioneer Mercantile, Port Royal, or The Star Trader (in Disneyland Park). Also, if you happen to be staying at one of the
Disneyland Resort Hotels, you can have the droids delivered to your hotel at no extra charge. Talk about a great perk!
I hope this information helps you and your family enjoy a stress-free journey to
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Lisa! May the Force be with you!
